CU is a 5-day international film festival which focuses on DIY and low-to-no budget independent filmmakers and seeks to cast a spotlight on artists who pursue their passion and work on their craft with little to no resources. The festival is free and open for the public to attend. Within the three weeks that submissions were open, we received over 1500 submissions from 100 different countries and are excited to show you films from around the world.
The festival is divided into 5 blocks: Documentary & Non-Fiction, Experimental & Music Video Block, Short Fiction & Nordic Block, Feature Length & 2nd Docs, and the Mixed Genre/Best Of Block. If you are a part of an organization in Copenhagen or are from elsewhere on the planet that is interested in collaborating with us at one of our event dates, we would love to hear from you. Feel free to contact us here or at: copenhagenfilmfestival@gmail.com Check out Foodsharing Copenhagen's facebook page as well: https://www.facebook.com/FoodsharingCopenhagen/ And Flydende By's: https://www.facebook.com/flydendeby/ Seats are first come first serve. The Feature Length & 2nd Docs block will be a part of the Pirate Radio 1-year anniversary celebration, check out the event page here: Pirate Radio CPH: Anniversary Festival While this festival is free and public, this festival is also a safe space for everyone.
