Fieldwork Education Regional Event : The Netherlands: March 2019
Regional Event: American International School of Rotterdam
22 - 23 March 2019
These 2-day professional learning events are held at member schools around the world. They offer the opportunity to engage with other teachers from across the region and gain a mix of perspectives from a variety of schools. Each Regional Event has a choice of 2- day courses taken from the professional learning pathway for each international curriculum.
Whether you are a brand new to the international curriculum or an experienced member school we can support you in your professional learning.
At this event you will have the opportunity to attend one of the following 2-day courses:
IPC: Level 1 : Implementing the IPC
Our Implementing course provides an excellent foundation of learning for participants to understand the philosophy and process behind the curriculum and gain a clear idea of how to take action in their school.
We recommend the Implementing course for schools and/or teachers who are new to our International Early Years curriculum
IPC: Level 2 : Leading the IPC
This course is for those people who have or will have responsibility for leadership, coordination and management of the IPC in their school.
The courses will equip participants with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to lead the implementation of the IPC in their schools, and to give advice to colleagues on IPC related matters.
IPC: Level 2 : IPC Self Review (The Bottom Line Nine)
This course is essential for schools, teachers or leaders, who want to improve learning through the IPC and are considering Pre-Accreditation or have been through a Pre-Accreditation visit.
The course has been designed to make sure that you and your school know everything you need to know about the nine most important principles of the IPC curriculum. It will guide you through the IPC Self-Review Process, using examples from accredited schools around the world to help you reflect on where you are as a school.
IMYC: Level 1 : Implementing the IMYC
Our ‘Implementing’ course provides an excellent foundation of learning for participants to understand the philosophy and process behind the curriculum and gain a clear idea of how to take action in their school.
We recommend the ‘Implementing’ course for schools and/or teachers who are new to our IMYC.
IMYC: Level 2 : Embedding the IMYC
Our 'Embedding' course provides participants with some experience implementing the IMYC an ideal opportunity to enhance their understanding and improve their implementation, through considering international best-practice methods.
We recommend the 'Embedding' course for schools who have implemented the IPC for 1-2 years and/or teachers with some experience implementing the IMYC.
