In the process of fermentation, we use microorganisms: bacteria, yeast or molds. Fermenting makes food tastier, easier to digest, and extends the life and vitality of what we eat. The techniques of fermentation give us infinite possibilities of creation. Any vegetable, fruit, herb, and spice--raw or cooked--can be fermented. Join the workshop and see what fermentation is all about. Learn about different types of fermentation, what are benefits of fermenting, try different types of fermented foods, learn how to make simple sauerkraut. Workshop teacher: Agata Bielska - chef at Rude Food Malmö, fermentation and wild plants educator, forager, health and sustainable food advocate at Meadow Lab MAX.
